Fics like ceci n’est pas la perfection

What’s the real reason Childe suddenly came to Fontaine? And why is he feeling down? After Zhongli asks Childe to marry him, Childe panics and runs away to Fontaine to sort out his feelings. Rejected and confused, Zhongli chases after him to try to understand why. The ensuing confrontation ends with the two of them getting arrested for causing a public disturbance. But the Gardes mercifully decide that instead of pressing charges, the lovebirds should simply spend the night in jail to cool off. Alone. In a small cell. With one bed. 10/10 genius idea, Gardes.
