Fics like Mou Patroklos

"But he would have nothing else. And he knew who it was he desired. For years now, his face had flitted about the corners of his eyes, and danced before him in his sleep. A warm smile, that seemed to light up the world like the sun. Hair and eyes that he could not make out, but knew well enough to know the deepest, darkest intricacies of. A heart kind enough to even cleanse some of the blood that stained his warrior's hands. A grass-stained foot hangs loose. Locks of tousled hair have slipped from the makeshift shroud A hard, unmoving chest, warm and hot with blood, an illusion of life, and yet the cold stillness revealed the truth" Nico is the reincarnation of Achilles, and like Achilles, praise has been heaped onto his name, for his achievements. Praise that felt ,to him, hollow, empty, meaningless. Praise that faded within the month, not that he missed it. For what he desired was not the praise of the masses, or the adoration of the many... but love. Because somethings never change. Some things not even the Lethe can wash away ( Will is Patroclus)
