Fics like You Will Believe a Friend Can Lie by Omission

“Yeah and if you’re going to confront him just be gentle about it.” Lois glares at him. Jimmy is becoming concerned about how judgemental she is. Maybe Clark does have a reason for hiding his huge appetite. “He’s a little self-conscious about it— .” “As he should be” “Lois, what?” “At least, he should be ashamed about being such a liar!” “He’s being a little deceptive, but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. It’ll come out eventually, and we just have to be accepting.” “What do you mean it’s not a huge deal? He’s putting himself in danger daily and I just can’t ‘accept that’. How can you?” “I’m sometimes a little concerned with his habits, but I wouldn’t say he’s in danger. I think it’s pretty normal, I guess, given his size.” “No, it’s not! How in the world is it normal to be Superman?” What? “Wait, you figured out he’s Superman? Is that what we've been talking about this whole time?” ....... An alternative take on episode 5 where Jimmy and Lois meet in front of the Daily Planet and learn they both know Clark is Superman.
