Fics like Father Like Steps

He's not handling this well. He's not handling any of this well. The tumultuous tides of emotions raged inside him, the roaring, screaming, shrieking sounds muffling the sounds of the outside world as he battled his losing will at the end of a war, a rebellion, lead by the one person he loved with all his heart. With so much crashing down on him, knowing full well Dan Feng felt nothing for him, Jing Yuan still loved him. Which is why he was in the state he was in now. He was not himself having become unapproachable the last few days. Then the Vidyadhara Elders sent a request to meet with him at the Alchemy Commission, something Jing Yuan rather not deal with at all. He's learned a secret kept from him, which doesn't help his mental stability any, and he's given a child to raise at the request of the one he will never have. Jing Yuan navigates healing from betrayal and loss, eventually the Luofu General, becoming a mentor, all while learning to be a father. Please mind the tags.
