Fics like By Any Other Name

“A curse by any other name is still a curse.” He spoke softly, looking at Azul with sadness in his eyes. Azul shook his head. “I can save you this time. I have to.” “Ya really think you’re gonna be able to do that?” A voice from the other side of the room chimed in. “I have to be. Otherwise I risk loosing the most important things in my life.” ————— Azul Ashengrotto was recognized in the Sea Witch’s image as soon as he hatched from his egg. He was destined for greatness, everyone knew it. She had finally chosen a successor for her magic. However then came the strangest thing a few months later; two small elvers, identical in almost every way, a set of brothers. The Leech twins were destined to follow in Flotsam and Jetsam’s footsteps since birth. When Azul finally learns the truth of the Sea Witch after prying it from his mother, and worst of all what happened to her eels, he is determined to prevent the twins from meeting the same fate, and with them, himself.
