Fics like Finding the pack

All during his extremely lonely childhood, Sephiroth was never allowed to communicate with the ones destined to be with him, Hojo even making sure he didn't have a pen anywhere near him for as long as he lived in the lab and telling him that there are way more important things to do than wait for people who likely didn't even exist. The moment he is out on his own, Sephiroth immediately grabs a pen and starts writing in the hopes that there really is at least one person out there who is destined to be with him. To his utter relief, he immediately gets written back by not one but two people and that amount only grew over the years This is how the general of SOLDIER found his true family and massively pissed off Hojo in the process
