Fics like Pearl Harbor

In the fateful days of 1941, while the world is in the midst of tension and uncertainty, a story of courage, love and trust unfolds at Pearl Harbor. Louis is newly stationed at Pearl Harbor and meets Harry there. They quickly become friends, but Harry has a dark secret: due to a swimming accident during a military exercise, he suffers from a great fear of water, although he was once the best swimmer in his unit. When Louis finds out, he wants to help him and offers to secretly train with him on the beach. As they grow closer during their secret swimming exercises together, a deep bond develops between them that goes far beyond friendship. As tensions in the world continue to escalate, Harry and Louis must not only hide their love, but also deal with the horrors of the approaching war and the challenges of life as soldiers. As the clock ticks and the shadows of war loom, they must learn to rely on each other and realise that true strength lies in supporting and caring for one another.
