Fics like First Things First

The K'maneda's First Infantry: the most powerful division within the realm's most terrifying mercenary group. It's practically an army in and of itself, comprised of over two thousand fighters and mages who've been tested on the battlefields of dozens of realms. Capable of fighting in the worst conditions and on the most challenging terrain, the First has a reputation for getting the job done when no one else can. ...they also have a reputation for being a bunch of horny, drunken idiots. This is a collection of stories about the First's denizens and those who, for better or worse, have become attached to them. (Love's a strong word; you've got to be careful with that kind of thing.) Most are humorous, chaotic, and, ultimately, a bit sentimental. Reading the series of works that this collection of one-shots is associated with isn't strictly necessary, but you'll probably have more fun if you do. Because, let's be honest, if anything's going down in the First, Niv is getting himself involved. Which, much to Yule's chagrin, means he's getting dragged into things along with him.
