Fics like Who is Adam Pierson?

After being shot by an unknown assassin, Methos, currently known as Adam Pierson and working for the Watchers, pretends that he is a new immortal (instead of the oldest) so the secret organization doesn’t kick him out or kill him. To help with his ruse that he did not know he was immortal, he convinces Joe Dawson to get him in contact with Duncan MacLeod so he can teach him how to swordfight. Methos has to keep his secret identity while living with the Highlander watching his every move. Things come to a head as the Watchers prepare for war with the unknown sniper, and Adam Pierson is put on trial. Will Duncan figure out who this mysterious immortal is? And will they figure out how they feel about each other before the hammer falls?
