Fics like the roar of the waves

“Fine. Ah, so I found Chopper – but! We got separated when the place collapsed. It was a cult, by the way, I was right. You were a sacrifice, mosshead – be honored! Had the whole ritual table, dark god thing going on, they even had people to feed you after you ‘embraced the god of hunger’. Crazy shithead assholes.” ... "Just – don’t let me hurt you, shit cook.” “You won’t.” That finally made Zoro look up, his face slick with sweat – and tears? Surely not – his gaze intense as he searched Sanji’s face, the look in his eye desperate and unsure. At last he swallowed and nodded again, reaching up to cup the blonde’s jaw once more, “No, I won’t. But just in case, I’m trusting you not to let me.” And that was easy to promise, Sanji nodding back as he leaned in that last bit, kissing the idiot. His lips were still soft, his teeth too sharp, and for a moment they went slowly, tasting each other, the aching need between them almost sweet, almost real. --- (Zoro gets kidnapped and found by Sanji after being drugged. Actually quite sweet.)
