Fics like After Glow

Four months after the NWA's murderous scheme was brought down by Nicholas and Danny, Sandford is rocked by yet more death. Nicholas, in the role of acting Inspector, is feeling the pressure as he tries to repair what damage he can in the village, whilst battling against his complicated and growing feelings for Danny, convinced that giving in to each other can only end badly. When personal tragedy strikes, Nicholas is forced to confront exactly where his feelings lie and admit just how much he wants to be with Danny. But after Nicholas has already hurt him so badly, will Danny be willing to take that risk again? Featuring: an emotionally constipated Nicholas, Danny's very dirty mouth, two idiots who will eventually fall in love and most of the village sticking their noses in.
