Fics like mariner

After five minutes of excruciatingly painful silence overlaid only by the clinking of utensils on ceramic, Jefferson clears his throat. He’d planned out an emotional, eloquent speech on how he still didn’t like the idea of Miles putting himself in harm’s way every night, but would always support and love him no matter what. He’d even rehearsed it in the mirror while brushing his teeth before breakfast. What comes out instead is: “I…am okay with it.” Jefferson comes to terms with his son's superhero shenanigans.
