Fics like The Trials and Tribulations of Keeping A Secret

“I need you to be my boyfriend.” She said it as fast as she could, ripping the band-aid off to get it over with. But damn if the rip didn’t hurt like a bitch. Buddy laughed. He actually laughed in her face. “That’s, that’s funny. That’s a good… one— why aren’t you laughing?” Cynthia watched him with a sour look on her face. “Okay look, I don’t need you to be my real boyfriend, in fact I’d actually rather die before that were the case,” she felt a little relief at finally getting to say something true, not to mention she felt a little too satisfied at the hurt look on Buddy’s face at that. “I’ve gotten myself into a little bit of a pickle and until I find a way out of it, I need you to roll with this.” - aka Cynthia manages for force herself to fake date Buddy and hates everything for about a week while her girlfriend laughs at her the whole time
