Fics like War Machines

The world is at war. Humanity is fighting a losing battle for survival against the “creepers,” alien invaders attacking Earth through interdimensional rifts in space and time. Powerful, deadly, and all but unstoppable, the creepers were on the verge of crushing human civilization. The creation of Terra Omega changed everything. Specially-trained humans able to utilize the power of those rifts against the creepers, Terra Omega was Earth's best chance. Then the mysterious and powerful alien warrior Ezekiel the Pilgrim arrived. An alien of a previously unknown species, the Pilgrim is skilled and powerful enough to take on groups of creepers even Terra Omega would struggle with. He's hailed as the World's Greatest Defender, fighting to protect the people of Earth while asking nothing in return. But who is the Pilgrim? Why would a creeper fight against other creepers? And why is he so interested in one particular Terra Omega operative?
