The dissolution of the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance meant that both captains wouldn't see each other for long enough for both to pursue their own goals, but it seemed that fate didn't want to grant Law that favor. Or Trafalgar Law, like a good strategist, chose the best route that the log pose pointed to, being the shortest and, apparently, the safest. What the Heart Pirates would not imagine they would end up meeting Kurohige and part of the titanic captains. After escaping injured and with their captain unconscious, the crew decides to contact the Strawhats looking for help. However, that would only be the beginning of the maelstrom that would end with both captains being captured by the marines, with a totally unknown location, not only for their crews, but for practically the entire world. Imprisoned, and with the constant threat of being executed, the perfect environment is formed to share their confidences about the past, present and future. But above all, talk about their wounded childhoods and how that has affected their existence and life purpose.
