Fics like The Good Kind of Change

“1. no more parties, you don’t need too much publicity 2. Drop Wolfsheim please, I know you think highly of him but the man is a mobster, especially after this we don’t need another incident to taint your reputation, the jury will care. 3. Get over Daisy, she's gone and she's not coming back, if you need help refer to 4 and 5. 4. No more lies, Daisy couldn’t handle it and I don’t know how long I will be able to last so please, tell me the truth. 5. If you need help in any way or for any reason you will come see me, understood? I will not take anymore of your self sacrificing nonsense. Do these things and I promise I will not leave you in your time of need, understood?“ Nick issues Gatsby with an ultimatum after he escapes from death and Gatsby takes him up on it. Gatsby can stand to become someone he is proud of. On the journey of change feelings are stumbled upon and addressed in ways that turn their worlds upside down.
