Fics like pretending the damage doesn't matter

It’s been over a year since he was sent back, now he was a war veteran at twenty-seven, with eight fingers and one functioning eye, while the other only saw shadows on good days. He had been told to take it easy but easy was dangerous. Easy meant sitting in his apartment the whole day, drinking tea on good days and scrubbing his hands bloody in the sink on bad days. Sitting on the sofa on good days and on the bottom of his shower screaming back at the voices in his head on bad days. - Or Levi tries to handle his trauma, ocd and ptsd after getting back from war. Or, me writing about my favourite characters but give them even more trauma because that's how I cope :)
