Fics like Take Care

Adam's phone rang. He had been walking through the Paris streets in his disguise ready for Ben and Sam to tag him at any moment. To his surprise, the caller ID read "Sam". The only reasons he could think of for Sam to call him were a series of escalating emergencies. He could feel his anxiety ramp up as he swiped his phone. "Sam? What's going on?" He could hear Sam speaking French to someone before he answered, "Sorry, the nurse just left." "Nurse?!" His voice rose half an octave. "Where are you? What happened?" "ER. A car accident. My leg's messed up. Ben was unconscious going into ambulance-" Ben? Unconscious? His Ben? That can't be right. He was just with Ben earlier today and he was fine. He has to be fine.
