Fics like sunshower

Vash kisses him and it’s like dying. Not the pain of it, but the certainty. Like this was inevitable, despite the odds, despite the vastness of the universe, the coil of time, the fact that Vash is a myth long forgotten and Wolfwood is just one human among millions scattered through the stars. Vash threads his fingers through Wolfwood’s coarse hair, tugs him even closer. Pours the past five centuries of grief into the slide of their lips, licking into the heat of Wolfwood’s mouth, swallowing down the salt of communion wafers and the bitter aftertaste of wine. A mouthful of holiness for the most damned man in the universe. *** Five hundred years after the end of the world, Wolfwood finds him.
