Fics like Lucy Chen: Spider Monkey

Standing at a height of only 5’4”, Lucy Chen has always looked up at the world. She walks straight-backed, vertebrae stacked as high as she can manage, but that only gets her so tall. It doesn’t help her at concerts where there is inevitably some 6’ plus dude-bro with an extremely wide back standing directly in front of her, and it certainly doesn’t help her reach the top shelf at the supermarket. But being a lifelong shorty, Lucy has adapted. She long ago figured out that there was rarely a tall person or a step ladder around when you needed one, so Lucy compensates by being a climber. OR 5 times Lucy climbs things, and one time she doesn't.
