The war was won, the world was saved, the three surviving Hamato brothers weren't as dead as they should have been. But now it's time to pick up the pieces afterwards and figure out what the hell they're supposed to do now. Getting away from people and trying to piece together their broken family seemed like a good enough idea. They've fought for humanity their whole lives at this point. They deserve a happy ending, or as much of one as they can get. Turtle Luck runs true to form when Donny finally shows up when they least expect it. Don's spent years going through hell that tested him in every way possible. He Is Not Okay. He never thought he'd escape the Backrooms. He spent every day trying, but after so long he'd accepted that it was just a pipe dream. How is he supposed to accept that he made it out just as accidentally as he made it in? What is he supposed to do in a world that was destroyed without him?
