Fics like Here Lies the Spider's Web

Gon could only strangle out the word “Stop…”. Nobunaga’s eyes finally moved away from Killua’s bleeding form, and turned to meet Gon’s desperate stare. Tears blurred Gon’s vision as he met the man’s eyes, “Please, stop… I’ll do whatever you want if you just save him. Just please… don’t let him die…” choked Gon. “Whatever I want, eh?” Nobunaga’s murderous aura sputtered out. Gon could feel a pressure he hadn’t been aware of leaving his chest, but at the words spoken, a new tightness was forming in its place. “Well, in that case, I stick to the original plan. I’ll save the boy, if you promise on your honor that you’ll stay to meet the Boss and give this a real shot. Deal?”
