Fics like from the start

The two fell back into place as if they'd never left. Michigan had that power somehow. No matter how long it had been since they'd seen each other. No matter how they left off--as soon as they were back together here, they were just as they were the summer before. Neither of them could really explain how they became what they are in the summer. It was simple though. During the season, they were good friends. That's what all the interviewers called them, right? So they were good friends. Until the summer hit. During the summer, they were...together, let's just say. Even though they never really discussed it, there were clear lines. They could be with whoever the fuck they wanted to during the season but during the summer they were only each others'. It was simple.
