Jeon Jeongguk is the chaebol heir to one of Korea’s most luxurious clothing brands. His father, Jeon Jiwon, who built the company from scratch is a strong front runner in the high-end fashion industry. Likewise, Kim Daehyun and his son Kim Taehyung own ‘Vante’, a household name when it comes to statement jewellery pieces and fashion-forward, innovative accessories. Having once being college roommates and still very close friends, it’s a little disappointing to the CEOs that their sons do not follow in their footsteps when it comes to camaraderie. As it turns out, Jeongguk and Taehyung cannot stand each other. A healthy competitive nature their fathers call it, but the roots of their hatred stem further than simple petty rivalry. In fact, their issues started a very long time ago when Jeongguk was still a pimply, hormonal 16 year old and 17 year old Taehyung did the worst thing a best friend could possibly ever do— he left him behind. Now at the age of 22, Jeongguk still cannot forgive Kim Taehyung for unexpectedly leaving him that fateful summer. And, as he waits at the end of the altar for his bride, Taehyung will never forgive himself either.
