Fics like Heroes Aren't Meant to Survive

In order to appease the Wen, Yu Ziyuan cuts off Wei Wuxian's hand - in order to keep the supervisory office out of Lotus Pier, she hands him over to the Wen as a prisoner. In a desperate attempt to save his brother, Jiang Cheng teams up with Lan Wangji to plot a rescue - but what they don't realise is that whether they succeed or fail, their worlds will never be the same again. An eventual fix-it featuring most of the cast, a lot of hurt/comfort, and a promised happy ending!
