A vice-like panic seizes him, propelling him into a frantic sprint down the hallway, each step reverberating against the metallic grating. Abandoning all sense of decorum, he crashes through Rose’s door, neglecting the courtesy of a knock. "Ro-" he begins, but her name dies on his lips as his brain struggles to process what his eyes are seeing. Despite the dim illumination of a solitary flickering candle, his eyes are immediately drawn to her trembling figure sprawled on the bed. Fear grips icily at both hearts, the worry of a stress-induced seizure at the front of his mind. Yet, as he focuses his gaze, her hand's deliberate and rhythmic movement becomes unmistakable. (In other words, a fic where the Doctor walks in on Rose wanking and sexy shenanigans ensue.)
