Fics like The Balance of Power

Jeff Tracy has been back at home on Planet Earth for a few months and getting used to him being home was strange for everyone especially him. The biggest challenge was working with Scott. Jeff wants to take the reins back from Scott because he wants to give his eldest son a well-deserved break but also because he wants control of his companies again especially International Rescue. His slower more cautious and conservative way of doing things clashes with Scott's new ideas and well planned but faster and practical methods. The balance of power shifts quickly leaving Scott lost as to whether he could work under his father and if he is able to exist solely as the pilot of Thunderbird 1/Mission Control. Father and son butt heads almost daily making it impossible for them to work together. As Jeff takes over Scott's plans for IR are modified enough to cause Scott to feel like an outcast. He unhappily continues working at IR but only because he refuses to abandon his brothers.
