He pulls it free and turns to Steve. “You got any idea where the instructions went?” “Stay there,” Steve says. “I’ll go find it.” A plain sheet of paper face down on the desk, crumpled and smoothed out again, with a rip at the bottom corner like whoever was reading it got pissed and almost tore it to shreds before thinking better of it. Bingo. Steve flips it over excitedly, wanting to make sure he found the right thing before he goes running back to Eddie, but it’s not the instruction page.
