Fics like The Fall of the Infinite Empire

Many thousands of years before the events of KOTOR the Rakatan Infinite Empire dominates the galaxy, with no enemies on the horizon. All races, including Humans and Sith, are subjugated to the Rakatans. But the Empire, at the zenith of its power, is actually about to collapse, and that story begins with an uprising on the world of Korriban and the capture of a family on the world of Tatooine. From those starting points a plot will be revealed which will destroy the Empire, and set the stage for the rise of the Jedi and the Galactic Republic. A prequel to Knights of the Old Republic that provides a more fully developed story of what happened to the Rakatans and how they relate to the species that rose to prominence after them.
