Fics like broke down is where i'd be (baby you fix me)

A single tear slips free from her eye, and it’s not just the car, is the thing. It’s the car and the fact that she’s a month behind on her rent and the shitty ex boyfriend and the fact that she’s all alone in a tiny little town, the kind of town she swore she’d never end up in. It’s the fact that she has no friends and no family, and that she’s basically starting over at 30 fucking years old, sleeping on a mattress on the floor and applying for every job she can find. Somehow, though, she channels all of her frustration into hatred for her car, and she’s pounding on the wheel and screaming like a crazy person when possibly the hottest person she’s ever seen in her life walks up to her door and raises an eyebrow at her. “Um,” she says, rolling down her window and grimacing as the man stares at her with his eyebrow raised. “My car broke down.” OR Mechanic Tim AU!
