Fics like tightening the knot

The hand on his cheek did not move, no further movement of comfort and Hank knew why. Everything besides what they were doing now would be too much for the both of them. A line would be crossed, one that was so carefully tended to and respected until now. Beyond this would be something else. It wouldn’t be Doc helping Hank go through a dangerous habit to make both of their lives easier. It would be something personal, past what they were supposed to be. Hank has built up the habit of attacking anything and anyone whenever he's in a situation where he has no control in, and when Doc is the only one that can really help him try and overcome that habit. It awakens some rather ignored feelings between them.
