Fics like take me home (forever and ever)

Before Charlie could look away, Nick caught him staring. His eyes were helpless and imploring and, fuck, Charlie couldn’t ignore him now without seeming like an arsehole. “You okay?” he asked tentatively. Nick hesitated, then sat down on the edge of the rain-slicked pavement with an exhausted sigh. “Not really.” The rugby lot on the first floor—otherwise known as the Frat Floor—are notorious for partying, getting piss drunk, and keeping the rest of the student building up at four in the morning. So when Charlie finds Nick Nelson throwing up one night, he assumes the rugby lad brought it on himself. He soon realises two things. Firstly, how wrong he is. And secondly, that Nick has no one to take care of him. Unless Charlie takes matters into his own hands. OR Nick winds up with a bad case of freshers’ flu and no one to help him (because his friends are useless). Charlie steps in to make sure he’s looked after. Feelings ensue.
