Minhyuk is a severly abused cat hybrid that just wants to keep his baby alive. Even though he is deathly afraid of humans, he finds himself in a pack of six kind strangers, some hybrids, some not. But are they really as kind as they seem? What are their ultirior motives? And what dark stories lurk behind the eyes of the other hybrids in the house? Excerpt: ~ “How bad is it here?”, he asked hesitantly. “Not bad at all”, Hyungwon rushed to promise, “We live like humans here. There is one other hybrid, he is downstairs right now, but our humans are so nice. We both love them so much. They take really good care of us; we never have to worry about food or chores or punishments. I promise its good here.” His tail began wagging at the thought of how well they were treated. Especially when he thought back to how he used to be treated before they rescued him. The hybrid looked at him like he had lost his mind. “That doesn’t sound real at all. Humans are awful and cruel, are you just delusional? Do they give you drugs here? Oh god…” The hybrid started to sob, and his breathing became much too quick to be healthy. ~
