Fics like love will come through (take me don’t leave me)

“Eddie.” Buck says, his eyes just as soft as his voice and Eddie closes his eyes to sigh and forces the tears back down as he leans over and presses his lips to the side of Buck’s head without thinking and nodding to Chim to move the gurney. Ravi follows to drive the ambulance and Eddie has to watch, helplessly. It’s the first time he hasn’t been able to follow Buck and it’s killing him. It feels like he’s failing him, especially since Buck has always followed him. He’s always been there to hold his hand and make sure he got to the hospital safely. *** Buck gets shot by an asshole and turns out, it’s a blessing.
