Fics like Mr. Loverman

“C’mon now. I want you to tell me that you know you can be sad around me.” “I know. I just don’t want to make you sad.” He snorted. “Kid, I work in retail. It takes a lot to ruin my mood.” “I know, I know. I just.. you’ve been through a lot, y’know? Even if you don’t talk about it. And I don’t want to make anything harder for you.” “That was a long time ago.” “We have a near death experience like once a week, so not really. But… I wish I coulda been there with you back then.. just so you weren’t alone.” “You would have died,” he deadpanned, pulling up to the trailer. “Well.. minus the dying part. I just wish you didn’t..” you yawned, “gotta be alone.. like that.. but. ‘M here now, and I hope that’s enough.” Aka: 5 times you confessed to Ash without realizing and one time you did. Aka: 5 times Ash didn’t know what to do with a confession and one time he did.
