Fics like Thy Will Be Done

When Price finally takes the glass away it quivers in his hand. “There we go. It’s alright Soap,” he says quietly, wetly. One clammy hand comes up to press to his hot forehead. “You’re alright. Just take it easy, son.” The word comes out choked, like a confession drawn out of him by a higher power. Price is just a man; a scared, confused old man, and God is not supposed to die in hospital rooms but nonetheless, there sits his corpse. Price has a god complex, Soap wants a Father, and the world crashes down around them regardless of what either of them want. This is their relationship spanning from Modern Warfare 1 to Modern Warfare 3
