The photo underneath the headline catches Ava's attention before she can figure out what she’s looking at. It’s a landscape shot of a lighthouse sitting atop a cliff and silhouetted against a bold sunset, its beacon lit. It looks like it’s at the end of the world, surrounded by rocks and the sea. She frowns. The ad is for a relief lighthouse keeper. She tentatively scrolls down to look at the duties and requirements, fully expecting to find that she’s unsuited for the job. Except she’s kind of… perfect for it?
