Fics like Hold On Till May

Buck was never supposed to be well Buck after all he was only used for spare parts that’s basically all his parents cared about was Daniel and Maddie especially after Daniel got better... maybe that’s why he spent all his time in that damn treehouse when he was younger just hoping for his parents to notice he was gone (Spoiler alert they never did), so when Buck became apart of the Task Force 141 and he finally had a family he was so happy to have people who cared for him, he felt the same way when he left and joined the 118 after all he had another family but he should’ve known it was too good to be true.. —— TLDR: Buck gets injured on the job whenever he was helping people get out of a burning school and after he got the last person he was trapped and nearly killed by the flames, after that the 188 starts giving him the cold shoulder for no reason and he gets sick of it and goes back to his first real family
