Fics like Unswimmingly

The New Squidbeak Splatoon go on a seemingly routine mission to raid an Octarian base, in order to stop a mad scientist's experiments and to capture said scientist, Gate. Unfortunately, when Gate unleashes his project and things go pear-shaped fast, it's up to the Agents to adapt to some unexpected changes, while X and Zero are forced to attack the front entrance as part of the main rescue effort, and Callie and Marie try to sneak in to help. Unfortunately for Callie, a nasty blast from the past in form of a former "ally" has arrived to reinforce the Octarian defenders, and said "former ally" is not happy with her... The fifth arc in the Inky Future story, and the third original arc.
