R&B singer Aaliyah has had one dream, and one dream alone, that she’s secretly harbored for as long as she’s been famous—and that was to meet & hopefully collaborate with her number one musical idol, Trent Reznor. She jumps at the opportunity to achieve that dream at the VMAs, and it’s that single night, & some ensuing long-distance telephone calls, wherein she finds herself slowly entering into his enticingly vulgar, complex, dark & destructive world. It’s a beneficial symbiosis: his roughness captivates her, her refinement fascinates him. His abrasiveness is complement to her kindheartedness. With each passing day they grow intrigued by one another and Trent finds that he quite likes the taste of grace, while Aaliyah finds his danger rather appetizing. But what happens when they cement their closeness & “Baby Girl” and the NIN frontman find out things about one another that might prove too difficult for either to handle? Will their relationship pull through or completely destroy? Join these two as they grow closer & test the boundaries of their relationship—as she beautifies his darkness while he darkens her beauty—& they exemplify what it truly means for opposites to attract.
