Fics like Under the Sun and Stars

Everyone on the Sominel had come to know the prolonged training sessions Alfred went through every day. From the bright rays of the early morning to the setting sun of late evening, there was never an hour of day where he wasn’t seen doing something. And that plays perfectly in combat— the swing of his lance is always strong, maneuvering the battlefield with ease amidst countless enemy soldiers. But one day in particular, it comes all crashing down, and Alfred has to pay a price– one he thought was paid long ago.
