He didn't seem to know how to take a hint, but Buck didn't care all too much, so he sighed and met the stranger's eyes again. "You could say that. If the week included the past—almost three months." Buck picked his drink up off the counter, taking a long swig in an attempt to stave off the awkwardness. His face scrunched in disgust at the taste, and he blinked rapidly in shock as he pulled it away from his mouth. Salt? (Or, post-lawsuit, Buck gets roofied and it solves all his problems.)
