Fics like Best Mistake

Having recently filed for divorce, Tom Wambsgans decides to have a little extra fun at Connor Roy’s wedding. He meets a man named Greg, and takes the thrilling risk of fooling around with him after what feels like ages of sticking strictly to women. He knows it’s a mistake, although it’s only after a few other chance encounters with Greg that he realizes how severe the consequences of his initial decision are. And yet. Tom can’t stop making the mistake. Even after finding out Greg is a sex worker, that he’s been disowned from his family- Tom can’t bring himself to stop. And, perhaps, the biggest mistake of all is letting himself dream, that the life he wants -as different as it may be than anticipated- could actually be real. But maybe it's the best mistake, too.
