Fics like Scratching The Itch

"There's an itch. It eats you up inside. It's energy packed inside a globe, then shoved in your ribcage, just big enough that it strains the bones, and every hour that you leave it there, you risk something cracking. Something bursting." "I don't know if I'm following," BJ confesses quietly. "It's heat. It's goosebumps. It's getting sucked into a volcano because the only other way you can go is straight into space, where there's nothing and no one and you'll never be held or touched or kissed or fucked again. It's wondering if you're even worth the touching in the first place. And it's killing the wondering before it gets too loud, because what if it's infectious? And what if you start spreading it around to everybody else?" ~~~ During a weekend of R&R in Seoul with BJ, Hawkeye is forced to reckon with a whole mountain of things he's been repressing. He just wasn't expecting to have hands-on help—not after the conversations he and BJ have shared.
