Fics like moon and tides, light of my eyes

“Oh, don’t worry,” Luz said, reaching around for her pockets, “I have my…” Now it was Luz’s turn to trail off into silence, cold and confused and heavy like snow. A completely powerless glyph paper crumpled between her fingers and fluttered, like all things dead and wilting, to the cold floor. Tears glimmered on her cheeks under the overhead lights. Amity reached out a hand. “Luz.” “Amity.” Luz linked their hands together again. Amity couldn’t feel her skin underneath all the crusted blood and rot. “Let me wash your hair.” ——— After the final fight with Belos, Luz and Amity bathe together and take care of each other.
