Fics like The Monsterverse X Super Robot Wars Sereis: Book 1 - Inheritance

It is the year 2031, and the world is changing rapidly. The discovery of the Hollow Earth and the powerful energy source contained therein has generated a revolution of technological advancement for humanity. But with such advancement also comes adversity. Rogue Titans that do not acknowledge Godzilla as their ruler are increasing in number, for reasons Monarch is yet unable to discover. The rise of mecha in the armed forces of the world has helped curb the damage and create an unsteady status quo, but a larger scale conflict seems inevitable. Into this era the mysterious Vanguard Foundation builds a new machine, the Autonomous Earth Guardian Intelligence System; or simply Mechagodzilla A.E.G.I.S. Or just Aegi, to his friends. Not piloted by human hands, but rather by a plucky, sapient A.I, Aegi idealistically hopes to serve as a protector for humanity and strive to keep the Earth safe alongside Godzilla, whom he idolizes. However youthful, hot blooded enthusiasm and a heroic spirit will be tested by the difficulties of battle, the mistrust of those who remember the shadow of the APEX corporation's own Mechagodzilla, and the enigmatic nature of Godzilla's sense of duty that may one day view humanity as an enemy.
