Fics like A Badger's Determination and the Philosopher's Stone

Marigold Potter finds herself thrust into a new and confusing world of magic, but with her goals set in stone, she's willing to do what it takes to be happy for once in her life. She has friends by her side, and she's not about to let any nefarious rock-related schemes stop her from becoming the best witch she can be. Or: Trans girl Harry Potter gets sorted into Hufflepuff with Hermione, Ron, and Neville, Year One. Slight changes to characters, heavy changes to worldbuilding, minor plot divergence. Fuck JKR, my city now.
