Fics like Freckleface

“You've got freckles.” It's the last thing that Joaquín expects to hear from Manolo, who's currently sitting to his left, burning a hole into the side of his face. “Dude,” Joaquín’s like. “Aren't you supposed to be watching me write? I thought you said you wanted to learn calligraphy?” “I do!” Manolo blurts. “I just got a bit sidetracked. And can you blame me? I haven't seen you for a whole month! Not my fault that you came back with some adorable new additions.” Joaquín kisses his teeth, placing his pen down on the table. “Simp.” And Manolo just laughs. “Yeah, man, not even gonna try and deny it!” [Or how Joaquín's newly-acquired freckles play an instrumental role in getting him and Manolo together.]
