Fics like The Unfortunate Struggle of Instinct Versus A Really, Really Pretty Boy

He tried to pick out every little flaw about the boy. How his smile lifts more on his left side, leaving the right not looking so happy. How his face was clear of all acne, despite getting dirty nearly every P.E. class. How he had so many friends, that it seemed he could never be alone. But, the thing he hated the most, was that he couldn’t find anything to hate about him. He was perfect, and Thomas resented that. Even tried to pry it out of him, the burning hatred he must have at the world for dealing him such a shitty hand. But, alas, he found nothing; the boy was completely happy, and Thomas couldn’t do anything about it. or Thomas is a generally large asshole, and Newt is the nicest person he's ever met. Thomas tries to find any sort of flaw, because he hates the fact that Newt isn't one of his targets--but when he gets to see a crack in the boy's happy facade, the urge to protect him grows instead of his tendencies of violence. guys i know this is cliché but you have stick with me here, i promise it's not that bad *sob*
