Fics like Dimming Dreams

Tommy had been left in the dark for a while. So long that he thinks that any smell other than the mildew scent that clings to the walls will send him into shock. So long his ears will bleed at the noise of anything other than the soft scurrying of the rats that live in the dungeons and the light patter of soldiers making their rounds. Most of his life has been spent in the same two rooms. The same strict schedule. Around the same few people. Or: Tommy is a phantom hybrid who has been trapped for most his life, but it all changes when a new person is dragged into the cell across from his own. or or: a platonic soulmate au but they're in prison because why not.
